Repair Services

We Fix What’s Broken.

Most roofing problems don’t require a full replacement. If your roof has a specific issue — a leak, damaged shingles, failing flashing — a targeted repair is often the right call. Here’s what we handle.

Leak Detection and Repair

A leak rarely shows up where it started. We trace the source — whether it’s flashing, a penetration, or a shingle failure — diagnose it accurately, and fix it at the cause, not just the symptom.

Missing or Damaged Shingles

Wind, hail, and age can knock shingles loose or crack them. We replace individual shingles or sections to restore protection and maintain a consistent appearance across the roof when a full roof replacement may not make sense.

Flashing Repair

Flashing around chimneys, vents, skylights, pipe boots, and roof valleys is one of the most common failure points on any roof. We reseal, rebed, or replace failing flashing to stop water intrusion at the source.

Storm and Hail Damage

After a severe weather event, damage isn’t always visible from the ground. We inspect for hail hits, wind lifting, and debris impact and make targeted repairs before problems compound.

Fascia and Drip Edge

Damaged fascia boards or deteriorating drip edge can allow water to wick into the roof deck and soffit. We replace compromised sections and ensure proper drainage at the roof edge.

Pipe Boots and Vent Seals

The rubber boot sealing each plumbing vent is one of the first things to fail on a Houston roof — sun and heat crack it long before the shingles wear out. We reseal or replace the boot so water stops entering at the penetration.

The Process

How a Repair Works.

We keep it simple and transparent. If we open things up and find something the inspection could not see, you hear about it before we go any further.

01

Free Inspection

We start with a thorough inspection of the problem area and the surrounding roof. We’ll tell you exactly what we find and give you an honest recommendation — repair or replace — before any work begins.

02

Clear Proposal

You’ll receive a written proposal describing the repair scope, materials, and price. If the work uncovers something the proposal did not account for, we stop and talk to you before going further.

03

The Repair

We perform the repair using materials matched to your existing roof. Our crew works cleanly and efficiently — most repairs are completed in a single visit.

04

Final Walkthrough

We walk you through what was done before we leave. Your repair is backed by a 1-year workmanship warranty on the specific area repaired.

Your Protection

Backed by a Written Warranty.

1-Year Workmanship Warranty

Every repair Roofing Brigade performs is backed by a 1-year workmanship warranty from the date of completion. The warranty covers the specific area repaired. If that area fails within that period due to our workmanship, we come back and fix it — no charge.

Manufacturer material warranties apply where new materials are installed. Terms are specified in your written proposal.

Repair or Replace?

Here’s How We Think About It.

It’s the question almost every homeowner asks first, and the hardest one to answer from the ground. It usually comes down to two things: how much of the roof is affected, and how much life the rest of it has left. We’ll look at both, tell you which way we’d go, and explain the reasoning so the decision is yours to make.

A repair is usually right when…

  • The damage is isolated to one area

  • The rest of the roof is in good condition

  • The roof is relatively new

  • Isolated damage caused by hail, wind, or fallen debris

  • The repair addresses the root cause, not just the surface

Replacement is likely the better call when…

  • The roof is approaching or past the 15 to 25 years a Houston asphalt shingle roof typically lasts

  • Damage is widespread across multiple areas

  • The cost of repairing it, or of repairing it again, is approaching the cost of replacing it

  • Leaks are appearing in multiple locations

  • The roof deck or structure is compromised
